The exhibit focuses on twelve different holidays that are observed by diverse cultural and religious communities \u2013 Diwali (Hindu), Hanukkah (Jewish), Eid ul-Adha (Muslim), Christmas (Christian), Kwanzaa (people of African descent), Chinese New Year, Hogmanay (Scottish), Tet Festival (Vietnamese), Las Posadas (Latin American), First Nations (e.g., Sinck Tuck \u2013 Inuit), Sadeh (Iranian), and St. Lucy\u2019s Day (Swedish). It was developed to promote understanding of and respect for the varied and vibrant cultural and religious celebrations that can be experienced in Ontario.
