Both Pham and Tahi have sponsored family members to relocate to Toronto. Here Pham's mother poses in a traditional costume in her Toronto home. The Pham family is part of a thriving Vietnamese-Canadian community numbering over 20,000 in Toronto alone. There are now numerous Buddhist temples and Christian churches as well as social, cultural, and professional associations.
